Two new Asian restaurants are set to be unveiled to thousands of Christmas shoppers at Chadstone tomorrow.
Calia and Yu Kitchen will open on the ground floor of the centre at 10am, adding another Japanese and Chinese restaurant to the more than more than 90 fresh food stores, cafes and restaurants at The Fashion Capital.
Calia Chadstone‘s Japanese menu, created by Michelin-starred chef Francisco Araya, has been designed to cater for everyday dining with the option to add a touch of indulgence.

The restaurant will be accompanied by an adjoining store, selling food, wines and whiskies brought in from as close as country Victoria to as far away as Europe.
Melburnians may already be familiar with Calia Collective, with the Australian restaurant-to-retail company up and running at Emporium in the CBD.
One of its popular dishes is the premium marbled wagyu slices with an egg.
The Calia Collective is also partly behind Yu Kitchen, which will be directly above Calia Chadstone, featuring two private dining rooms.
Yu Kitchen’s menu has been created by Michelin-starred chef Bernard Kong and pays homage to Chinese Yum Cha and an a la carte dining in the evening.
It offers dishes including live snow crab steamed with aged Chinese wine and egg white and stir-fried whole live lobster with chilli sauce.
Both restaurants are designed to feed the family, and will also host interactive masterclasses with celebrity chefs.

Chadstone general manager Fiona MacKenzie said the two new restaurants further cemented the shopping centre as a fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and tourism destination.
“Our vision is to build on Chadstone’s iconic status through continued evolution and to meet
growing consumer demand for tailored shopping, dining and entertainment experiences,” Ms MacKenzie said.
The stores will open near the Tiffany and Co entrance to the ground floor of the centre.
