Avani Melbourne Box Hill Residences feature all the luxuries of an up-market hotel plus the conveniences of home that are often missing on a trip away.

The 75 apartment-style hotel rooms are ready for guests to move in and never leave — and you won’t want to.

There’s plenty of space to spend time in the rooms.

Designed for the modern traveller, they all come with a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a spacious balcony and plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space.

Everything you could need has been thought of — from measuring cups, to pots and pans, a dishwasher and a laundry trough.

And for those items many are likely to forget, don’t worry, the hotel has complementary dental, shaving and sewing kits, hair straighteners and power point adaptors available at reception.

There’s a heated pool and spa on the 19th floor.

There is plenty of space to spend time relaxing or working in the room, with a tables indoors and outdoors, as well as a living area, and even separate studies in the superior suites.

But the hotel also has plenty of shared areas to relax.

With almost 360 degree views over Box Hill Gardens out to Melbourne’s CBD and the Dandenong Ranges, the 19th floor includes a heated rooftop infinity pool and spa, gym, sauna, communal living area and kitchen.

There are several outdoor entertaining spaces on the rooftop with seating areas and barbecue pits.

Every room comes with a spacious balcony and a view.

With room-service available through Deliveroo and a Coles delivery service, there is no need to leave the building.

But it’s in a prime location, next to Box Hill RSL (and its restaurants), it’s just a few steps from Box Hill’s TAFE and hospitals and a five-minute walk from Box Hill Central.

While global hotel giant Avani Hotels & Resorts only opened in Box Hill in mid-September, it’s already proven popular with a variety of guests.

The hotel has reported most guests come from around Australia and are visiting family in the area or the hospitals.

Locals have been staying in the hotel while their homes are renovated, and others have simply chosen to treat themselves to a night out.
