Crashes in Keilor East, Pascoe Vale in Melbourne’s northwest
Tributes have laid after a horror day in Melbourne’s northwest last week with a motorcyclist dead and an elderly man rushed to hospital after two nasty collisions.

Tributes have been laid in memory of a Pascoe Vale man who lost his life in a two-car collision last week.
It was a horror time on the roads in Melbourne’s northwest after two collisions within hours of each other left one person dead and one in a critical condition on February 2.
Police and ambulance were called to the corner of Reynolds Pde and Moascar St after two vehicles collided about 9am.
The incident left a 78-year-old Pascoe Vale man needing hospital treatment as he battles life-threatening injuries from the crash. He passed away from those injuries late that day.
Yellow flowers have been left as a tribute to the man at the corner of Reynolds Pde and Moascar St.
Paramedics treated two other people, including a 40-year-old Strathmore woman, at the scene.
Police cordoned off the road with drivers being diverted at Vaux St and Le Cateau St as they began conducting an investigation into the crash.
Earlier in the morning, a motorcyclist died at the scene of an early incident after his bike and a truck collided in Keilor East.
Later on February 2, a cyclist was killed after a crash with a truck in Footscray. The Brunswick Cycling Club paid a moving tribute to Angus Collins in the days after his death.
Police believe the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Keilor Park Dr and Western Ring Rd around 4.50am.
The investigation into the Pascoe Vale and Keilor East incidents are ongoing.
