Students and staff at a Bendigo Senior Secondary College campus for “at-risk” kids and staff have been assaulted by a group who stormed the school.
It is understood a group of offenders stormed the Williamson St campus on Friday afternoon.
A staff member is understood to have been assaulted while trying to protect the students.
One parent of a child who attends NETschool said her child and the other students were “very fearful”.
Police have been contacted for more information.
According to its website NETschool Bendigo, operated by Bendigo Senior Secondary College, provides a r”e-engagement education program for young people aged 15 to 19 years who have left or are at risk of leaving mainstream schooling but are committed to continuing their education”,
