The driver of a sport utility vehicle has died after a collision at Laanecoorie on Monday morning.
According to police a utility and SUV collided at the intersection of Bendigo-Maryborough Road and Bridgewater-Maldon Road just after 8am.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene.
They have not yet been identified.
The male driver of the utility was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Central Goldfields Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
