Two men have been charged with kidnapping a woman during an alleged home invasion.
Keilor Downs man David Gutierrez, his co-accused Tyrone Scott and a third co-accused allegedly broke into a Kyneton home on June 14 while wielding weapons.
Police allege the accused burglars knew that a woman was home at the time, and they broke into her house “with intent to cause damage”.
The accused crooks, allegedly came at the woman with weapons drawn and “detained her against her will”
Mr Guitierrez, alongside Mr Scott, then allegedly stole two trailers and multiple hand held tools from the property valued at about $4000.
The accused men were later arrested and Mr Guitierrez was charged on July 11.
The accused men are set to face a committal hearing in November.
