Bendigo police investigate ram raid on Howard St Epsom Village Chemist Warehouse

A car smashed through the front of a Chemist Warehouse in Bendigo overnight, with thieves taking off with perfume.

Police are investigating a ram raid on Bendigo Chemist Warehouse.

It is understood one or more offenders used a car to smash down the glass shop front of the Chemist Warehouse at Epsom Village on Howard St sometime between 3am and 4am.

Police allege the crooks stole perfume during the raid.

It is understood the thieves took off when police arrived at the scene.

Officers did not pursue and the crooks remain at large as the investigation continues.

The incident appears to not be related to the ongoing gangland tobacco wars, as a tobacconist five shops down was left untouched.
