A Bendigo man charged with sexually assaulting kids in December last year was allegedly busted with a horde of child abuse material in a police raid.
Brady Hamilton Tamblyn, 38, faced Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with child sex offences.
Police allege Mr Tamblyn sexually assaulted more than one child, including a little girl, in December last year.
The court heard a subsequent raid on Mr Tamblyn’s West Bendigo home by sex crime detectives allegedly revealed a horde of child abuse material.
The case was initially delayed by the sheer quantity of alleged child abuse material that needed to be analysed by police after “several devices” were seized from Mr Tamblyn’s home.
Mr Tamblyn is contesting the quantity of the child abuse material allegedly seized after a defence expert’s analysis.
