A woman is in hospital after becoming trapped in a car during a car crash in Wonthaggi.

A woman is in hospital after being trapped in her car for hours on Tuesday evening.
A Wonthaggi woman was driving down Toorak Rd in Wonthaggi when she went to turn into a driveway and suffered a medical episode.
The car crashed into the fence trapping the woman inside.
Emergency services were called just before 5pm.
SES worked with Wonthaggi Police to free her by removing the fence.
Once paramedics could access her they assessed her and she was taken to Wonthaggi Hospital.
