Victoria’s hospitality sector was honoured at the AHA Victoria State Awards for Excellence on Monday night, revealing the best pubs and hotels in the state.
The ever-competitive Parma of the Year awards saw The Star Hotel in Sale take out the coveted regional title, while The Bay Hotel in Mornington was crowned Best Parma in the metros.
The Star Hotel’s award-winning parmigiana comes topped with shredded ham, house-made Napoli sauce and a two-cheese blend, priced at $32 for a full serve or $25 for a half.
The Bay Hotel’s version features Napoli sauce, smoked ham and cheese, served with chips and a leafy salad for $30.
