Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a school bus carrying 20 students on a highway in the Latrobe Valley, during peak-hour traffic.

Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision between a car and a school bus carrying 20 students in the Latrobe Valley.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the corner of Bank St and the Princes Highway just before 4pm on Thursday.
“Ambulance Victoria has dispatched significant resources to the scene, including Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) paramedics,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said two people were taken to Latrobe Regional Health.
“The driver of the car and only occupant, a 39-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” a police spokesperson said.
“The bus driver and approximately 20 high school students were uninjured.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.”
