Two men have been taken to hospital after a crash involving two trucks on the freeway in the Latrobe Valley, that caused early morning traffic delays.

Two people have been taken to hospital after two-truck crash in the Latrobe Valley, causing early morning traffic delays.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Princes Fwy in Hernes Oak at 8.10am on Tuesday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said a man in his 30s was flown to The Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with lower body injuries, while a man in his 20s was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
An FRV spokesman said firefighters arrived on scene to find the incident involving two trucks with at least two people trapped.
“FRV and CFA crews worked to free the patients and handed them to Ambulance Victoria for treatment,” the spokesman said.
The incident was deemed under control at 8.29am.
Fireys remained at the crash for some time to make the scene safe.
Delays were expected as traffic was backed up all the way to Guns Gully and police closed off the freeway with detours in place for motorists.
“I just sat in this for 1.5 hours, which would normally take me 10 minutes,” a user took to a Traralgon community group.

“Avoid the area, leave highway at Newborough, not a good sight,” Morwell and Surrounds Community group admin Rob Young wrote.
