A woman has been rushed to hospital after a collision in Gippsland.

Paramedics and the CFA responded to the scene of the car crash on Contingent St at Princes Highway Trafalgar, just after 9.30am Wednesday.

A CFA spokesperson said one CFA truck and crew responded, along with police.

A woman, believed to be in her 60s, was taken to the Latrobe Regional Hospital in a stable condition with upper body pain.

“It was a routine accident — both vehicles were towed and the scene was clearly quickly and both parties exchanged details,” a police spokesman said.
