Rosedale man charged after allegedly killing father helping son change tyre
A man has been charged after allegedly hitting and killing a Rosedale father who was assisting his son on the side of a highway in eastern Victoria.

A man has been charged after he allegedly hit and killed a man who had stopped to help his son change a tyre on the side of the Princes Highway.
Police were told a 55-year-old Rosedale man stopped his car on the Princes Highway, near the intersection of Rights Lane, to assist his son with a flat tyre.
Leader understands the mans 22-year-old son had called his father for help with his tyre.
An approaching Holden Rodeo allegedly struck the man, while he was standing on the roadway beside his car about 8.20am on June 17 2022.
The 55-year-old Rosedale man died at the scene.
The driver of the Holden, a 24-year-old Rosedale man has now been charged with dangerous driving causing death, driving in a manner dangerous and careless driving.
At the time of the crash the driver stopped at the scene and assisted police.
He has been bailed to appear at La Trobe Valley Magistrates’ Court later this month.
