Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a Melbourne man drowned at a popular swimming spot in Gippsland.

A Melbourne man has died after he was pulled unresponsive from a lake in Gippsland.
The man in his 30s, who is yet to be formally identified, was found unresponsive in Blue Rock Lake near Old Tanjil Rd in Willow Grove about 1.30pm on Sunday.
A police spokesperson said a passers-by performed CPR but the man died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined but the matter is not believed to be suspicious.
Blue Rock Lake is one of the state’s foremost Australian bass fisheries, known for its eucalypt forest banks and views.

Social media users took to Facebook their condolences to the man’s loved ones.
“We are here and my heart goes to every single person who was trying to help this man and of course his family. Such a sad outcome,” one user wrote.
“So sad condolences to the person’s family,” commented another.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
