Homes and businesses across the Bass Coast area were targeted by burglars across the weekend.
The first of the burglaries happened at a pizza shop on Graham St in Wonthaggi about 6.30am on Saturday morning.
Offenders forced their way inside through a door before stealing cash, including the tip jar, and soft drink from the fridge.
Another burglary occurred sometime between 9.30am and 1.30pm in Korumburra.
Offenders gained entry to a house on Massimo Way and stole tools, jewellery and computers.
They also stole the car keys to a grey 2021 Nissan X Trail, which they also stole from the garage.
“The car is yet to be located by police,” Wonthaggi Police Station’s Senior Sergeant Paul Stow said.
The car’s registration is 1UJ 4JU.
The Korumburra Golf Club was also among the places targeted over the weekend with offenders breaking into the office about 4am on Sunday.
The offenders stole cash from inside the office and security who attended noticed a dirt bike with no registration plates driving away from the premises.
“We are investigating whether the dirt bike and the burglary are connected,” Senior Sergeant Stow said.
He appealed for anyone with information about any of the incidents to contact the police.
“Anyone with CCTV or information should get in touch with the criminal investigation unit,” he said.
Anyone with information on any of the burglaries should contact the Wonthaggi Police station.
