Hundreds of surfers from across Australia and overseas have hit the waves at Bass Coast’s most iconic surf competition this weekend.
The four-day event — which began on Wednesday — was held at Phillip Island locations including Cape Woolamai, Penguin Parade, Smiths Beach, Right Point and Surfies Point.
The Surfing Victoria competitions doubles as a 10,000 point showcase event on the Surfing Australia junior calendar.
The overall junior champion on the rankings will claim a spot in the Australian Team, competing at the next ISA World Junior Championships.
The Herald Sun attended the competitions on Friday and Saturday to photograph surfers and crowds cheering them on, expressing their excitement and passion for surfing.
