Girl flown to Royal Children’s Hospital remains in critical condition after water incident in Morwell
A young girl who was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital after a near drowning at a Morwell home remains in a critical condition.

A young girl has been flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital after a near drowning at a Morwell home.
Paramedics were called to the Spring Ct scene just before 1.30pm on Tuesday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the girl was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The hospital confirmed on Wednesday morning the child remains in the same condition.
Facebook users wished the girl a safe recovery in a community noticeboard.
“This is so sad. I hope she will be ok,” Jenny Hammond commented.
“So sad, hope they pull through,” Steven Johnson wrote.
“My (heart) goes out to all affected by this tragedy — family, loved ones and emergency services, so sad so close to Christmas,” user Shazza Stone said.

“At the time the air ambo flew over, there was also a car accident up around the St Vincent’s area,” Fred Jones commented.
