Authorities had a busy Easter long weekend responding to three different incidents across the Gippsland region, including extinguishing a car engulfed by flames on the side of the road.
The FRV were called to the scene on Alexanders Rd in Morwell at 3.30pm on Monday, where they found a car on fire.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but a police spokesperson confirmed the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
In Loch 30 minutes later, paramedics were called out to reports of a truck and car collision on Poowong-Loch Rd.
“One person was transported by road to Korumburra Hospital,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
Twenty minutes after that, paramedics were called to a vehicle rollover on Bengworden Rd and Mawley Rd in Cobains, northeast of Sale.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said one person was taken to the Sale Hospital in a stable condition.
At 8pm, emergency services responded to a crash on Shields Rd in Lucknow, east of Bairnsdale, but no emergency treatment or transport was required.
