Eight people have been taken to hospital after a two-car collision in the state’s southeast.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Soldiers Rd and the Bass Highway in Bass about 9.30pm on Thursday.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said three teenage girls were taken by road to the Dandenong Hospital in serious but stable conditions with upper and lower body injuries.
A boy was also taken to the Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with upper and lower body injuries, while a woman in her 40s with was taken to the Frankston Hospital in a stable condition with upper and lower body injuries.
The spokeswoman said a man in his 50s, a teenage girl and a teenage boy were taken to the Wonthaggi Hospital in stable conditions with minor injuries.
A CFA spokeswoman said crews from San Remo, Wonthaggi, and Kernot attended the scene.

“The incident was declared under control at 9.48pm and safe at 10.06pm,” the spokeswoman said.
Crews remained on scene for some time assisting with clean up efforts.
The crash happened just hours after an out of control grass fire started about 16km away at The Gurdies.
