East Gippsland: Woman who was found dead in Maffra house fire has been identified
Police have identified a woman who died after a fire engulfed her property at Maffra in Gippsland.

A 63-year-old Maffra woman has died in a house fire at Maffra in Gippsland on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the Queen Street property about 6pm but flames had already engulfed the home.
The body of the woman was found inside.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
