Driver flown to The Alfred in serious condition after car crashes into tree on the South Gippsland Hwy in Loch

A man in his 30s has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after his car crashed into a tree in a small South Gippsland town.

A man has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after his car crashed into a tree in South Gippsland.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the South Gippsland Highway at Loch just before 1pm on Wednesday.

The patient, a man in his 30s and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was flown to The Alfred in a serious but stable condition with non life-threatening injuries.

Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
