Club Terrace crash: Woman dies at scene of two-car collision on Princes Hwy

Victoria’s state road death toll has hit 269 after a woman died in a two-car collision on the Princes Hwy in the state’s east.

A woman has died following a two-car collision in the state’s east.

Police understand the two cars crashed on the Princes Hwy in Club Terrace — between Orbost and Cann River at 2.20pm on Wednesday.

A female passenger in one of the vehicles died at the scene and the two male drivers were taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the collision remains ongoing and detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit arrived at the scene later this afternoon.

It has taken the state’s road death toll to 269, which is 44 more lives lost on our roads compared to 225 this time last year.
