Christopher Ralls faces court, accused of hitting and killing father in Flynn collision
A young Rosedale man was supported by loved ones in court after he was accused of hitting and killing a father with his car after he had stopped on the roadside to help his son.

A young man sat blank-faced in front of a Magistrate for the first time since he allegedly hit and killed a father in Flynn last year while driving.
Supported by his father and partner, Christopher Ralls, 24, appeared in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ court on Wednesday after being charged with dangerous driving offences.
It is alleged Mr Ralls was driving a Holden Rodeo on the Princes Highway on June 17 2022 when he struck a man near the intersection of Rights Lane.
Detectives have been told the man who was hit had come to help his 22-year-old son with a tyre and was standing on the side of the road when he was allegedly struck by Mr Ralls.
The 55-year-old Rosedale father was tragically killed in the incident.
Mr Ralls stopped at the time of the crash to assist.
Mr Ralls, also from Rosedale, was charged on June 15 with dangerous driving causing death, driving in a manner dangerous and careless driving.
He was bailed to appear at court on Wednesday, where his bail was extended until he appears in court later in the year for a committal mention.
