Two people who were charged over the murder of a man found dead in his Dimboola home have denied the accusation in court.
Thomas Clarke and Jodie Rebecca Hill both pleaded not guilty to one count of murder over the death of 71-year-old man John Lindsay Hunter at the Horsham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
The pair were previously charged after Mr Hunter was found dead in his home on Victoria St, Dimboola — close to the south Australia border — on January 23 this year.
“I’ve noted your plea of not guilty today,” Magistrate Hugh Radford told Clarke and Hill.
The pair will stand trial in the Melbourne Supreme Court in August.
