Firefighters battled a blaze which broke out at an old Castlemaine school campus at the weekend, with the fire now being treated as suspicious.

Police have set up a crime scene at an old school building in Castlemaine where a suspicious fire broke out at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to a building fire at the former Castlemaine Secondary College Etty St campus about 10.45pm on Saturday.
Firefighters found two portable buildings “well alight”, a CFA spokesman said.
With 11 CFA vehicles present, they brought the blaze under control before midnight and the scene was handed to Victoria Police due to “suspicious circumstances”.
Nobody was inside the building at the time of the fire.
A crime scene was established and police continue to investigate.
