A motorcyclist has died after he crashed into a parked car in a residential street at Miners Rest near Ballarat.

A motorcyclist died when he crashed into a parked car in Miners Rest near Ballarat on Saturday afternoon.
Debris from the collision covered part of McKellar Drive as police worked on scene, where the accident occurred at 3.30pm.
The deceased man was a 42-year-old from Miners Rest.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
