Police earlier warned Nomads and Bandidos bikies to behave ahead of major gang runs to Geelong and Ballarat at the weekend.

Police say there no noteworthy incidents during a Bandidos motorcycle run through Ballarat at the weekend.

Before Saturday, police warned Bandidos and Nomads bikies to behave when they had major gang runs.

“There will be no hesitation in taking swift action in the event any OMCG members involved in the event commit criminal, road safety or public order offences,” a spokeswoman said.

The Nomads — regarded as one of the growing elements of the outlaw motorcycle gang scene, with chapters in Melbourne and central Victoria — rode together from Melbourne to Geelong, and the Bandidos travelled through Ballarat on Saturday.

Police reported no major issues during both occasions.

The previous weekend, the Comanchero and Finks gangs had their runs.

The Comanchero descended on Port Phillip Prison where they put on a loud show of Harley-revving support for clubmates locked up at the Truganina jail.

“The bikies are having more runs than Steve Moneghetti,” one observer remarked recently.
