Woman dies after crashing into tree at Dunach

A woman has died following a crash in the state’s northwest.

Emergency services were called to Ballarat-Maryborough Rd in Dunach at 4.15pm on Sunday, where it is believed a car lost control and crashed into a tree.

The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 70-year-old woman from Maryborough, was flown to The Alfred in a critical condition with upper and lower body injuries, but died overnight.
