Country Road is set to come to Ballarat.
The Herald Sun has confirmed the premium clothing store is expected to open by July 2023.
Set to be built in Sturt St, the store is expected to take the space of the old Thomas Jewellers.
The storefront has been empty since 2017.
Country Road is not yet advertising job positions for its Ballarat store but it’s understood the new retail shop will have multiple positions available.
The Country Road Group is one of Australia’s largest specialty fashion retailers with a “market leading position in the mid to upper tier of the segment”, according to its website.
Country Road was contacted for comment.
