A man has been arrested after police execute search warrant
An Albury man has been charged with firearm and drug offences after police executed a search warrant at his house. Read what happened.

A man is spending time in a police cell after being charged with a string of drug and firearm offences.
Murray River Police District officers executed a search warrant at Range View Drive, Jindera, 15km north of Albury on Wednesday.
Police seized two shortened .22 calibre rifles, a long .22 rifle, air rifle, pistol, and drugs including methamphetamine from the home.
“[We] commenced an investigation in February into allegations a man was in possession of illegal firearms,” a police spokesman said.
The police also found alleged stolen items during the search.
The 42-year-old man was taken to Albury Police Station and later charged with 27 drugs and firearm offences.
They include two counts of possessing an unauthorised firearm, six counts of not keeping a firearm safely and ten counts of possessing prohibited drugs, among others.
The man has been refused bail.
