A two-car collision on Nineteenth Street in Irymple has seen seven people sent to the hospital

Seven people have been rushed to hospital after a two-car collision in the state’s north
The CFA, police and Ambulance Victoria were called to the incident on Nineteenth St about 3.35pm on Thursday.
The male driver of the Toyota Kluger was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. His six passengers were also taken to hospital, but none of their injuries are thought to be life threatening.
The female driver of the Grand Cherokee and her two school-aged passengers were taken to hospital for observation following the crash.
A CFA spokesperson said three units responded to the incident, from Red Cliffs and Irymple.
“Crews worked to free a trapped person. The person was treated at the scene by Ambulance Victoria,” the CFA spokesperson said.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
