A man in his seventies has died after being run over by a tractor at a farm in Woorinen South, in the state’s northwest.

A man in his seventies has died after being run over by a tractor at a property in the state’s northwest.

A 74-year-old man was working on a farm in Woorinen South in Swan Hill when the accident occurred.

When emergency services arrived, he was conscious and breathing, but his legs were pinned underneath the tractors back wheel and he was bleeding from the face and arm.

He was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital but died shortly after

WorkSafe has been notified and police will now prepare a report for the coroner.
