HOW many police recruits does it take to make an orgy?
Sounds like something from the 1980s’ slapstick Police Academy comedies.
This time the stick slapping is from er, members of the Victorian Police Academy, with some recruits being caught with their pants down.
Police confirmed to Page 13 that “a number of people resigned” following an investigation into some off-duty “misconduct”.

Misconduct in this case is police speak for orgy. Not that they were breaking the law.
The extra-curricular badge flashing happened off-site and off-duty. But one of the participants went back to the Glen Waverley Police Academy and started bragging.
After talking out of school, a complaint was made by another participant upset over the love truncheon big noting.
An investigation followed with police recruits’ phones given the once over.
All involved were found to be willing participants, but some recruits were then “moved on.”
The day-to-day life of our police recruits is outlined on the Victoria Police website under At The Academy: “Your days at the academy will be divided between lectures, physical training and learning the operational skills necessary to carry out your duties.”
“You may need to undertake additional study in the evenings and maintain your fitness outside of class times,” recruits are instructed.
Some recruits took this a bit too literally.
Straight from a blue movie, it’s become all the chatter among our boys in blue.
Police confirmed to Page 13 that an investigation was carried out.
“Police became aware of misconduct relating to a small number of recruits from the same squad,” a police spokeswoman said.
“The incidents happened off duty. There has never been an allegation of, or evidence of, a sexual assault.
“Inquiries were conducted and a number of people resigned. No criminal offences were committed.”
The number of recruits involved remains unclear. One police insider says “fewer than eight.” Another says “upwards of four going hammer and tongs.”
Either way, it seems they had a quorum for whatever constitutes an orgy.
And as to exactly who was doing what and to whom, one copper contact simply said: “It was an old-fashioned orgy.”
