Speculation is mounting that former footy star and exiled media personality Wayne Carey will bob up on I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!.
Carey, who started his own podcast The Truth Hurts after exiting his television and radio roles in 2022 following a white powder incident in Perth, is said to have warmed to the idea of a stint in the harsh elements in South Africa.
One of the clues released by Ten is that a contestant is an AFL premiership player and Hall of Famer.
Several footy media insiders have suggested Carey is the man.
Carey captained North Melbourne to two flags and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2010.
Another name linked to the show hosted by Julia Morris and Robert Irwin and premiering on Sunday March 24, is fitness dynamo Tiffiny Hall.
FOX FM’s super sleuth producer Leon Sjogren on Friday added more intrigue by suggesting other names tipped to appear.
He named comedian Ross Noble, former reality show villain Bryce Ruthven and swimming legend Ian Thorpe.
