Page 13: John Barker suffers Tyson Fury slight at No Limit Fight Night in Melbourne
Already designated “beer wench” for his Fox Footy mates, John Barker’s night got even worse when he returned from the bar to find the world heavyweight champion in his seat.

Tyson Fury was the star of the show at Wednesday night’s boxing extravaganza.
The heavyweight champion of the world wasn’t stepping into the ring, but all eyes were on him at Margaret Court Arena.
He even had the requisite entourage, which strangely included Collingwood resident bad boy Jordan De Goey.
Understandably, Fury had the run of the place as former Hawk John Barker quickly found out.
Barker was a late call-up to the Bounce contingent from Fox Footy, getting a late invite from ex-teammate Ben Dixon.
Dixon, Jason Dunstall and Andrew Gaze were ringside to support their colleague Cameron Mooney, who was making his boxing debut against former Bomber Tom Bellchambers.
Given he was the late “in”, Barker was the designated “beer wench,” getting the drinks for the Fox Footy crew.
Barker happily obliged, but ran into trouble when he returned with his hands full of plastic pints to find none other than Fury sitting in his seat.
With Dixon and Co giggling, Barker made the wise decision to pass the drinks on to someone else and retreat to the bar, leaving Fury to stay in his seat.
He did get his seat back, eventually, much to the amusement of his mates, with Fury moving on to press the flesh elsewhere.
And flesh the WBC heavyweight champion is pressing, hard. One theory why Fury is up for a fight in Australia against Demsey McKean is because of his current ban from entering the United States.
It’s believed his travel issues are related to his connection to accused Irish crime boss Daniel Kinahan, who has reportedly “advised” him in the past.
Back to Barker’s seat setback. He fared better than Mooney, who was knocked out by Bellchambers in the third round of their much-hyped match-up,
Big boy Bellchambers, who only started training three weeks before the bout after initially tipping the scales at a solid 130kg, looked the real-deal with the gloves on.
