Essendon legend Kevin Sheedy has joked he is chasing Bombers fans all over the world, after a surprise meeting with Olympic snowboarder Scotty James.

Essendon legend Kevin Sheedy has caught up with Essendon tragic Scotty James in Aspen.

The pair bonded over their love of the Bombers but also their big four — Sheedy coached four premierships and James just broke Shaun White’s record to become the first male snowboarder to win four consecutive half-pipe gold medals at X Games.

“I’m following Essendon supporters around the world,’’ Sheedy said.

“A Bomber coach now following Bomber fans. It was great to catch up and talk about what he’s just achieved. He’s a great athlete.”

Sheedy, 77, is away on a family holiday.

He wasn’t aware that Jannik Sinner had won the Australian Open but he was delighted to hear the news that Neale Daniher had finally been awarded Australian of the Year.
