No stranger to copping fallout from social media posts gone wrong, Georgia Love has turned the blowtorch on to the family of a young cancer survivor.

Georgia Love faces fallout from casually racist Instagram post

Georgia Love is no stranger to social media storms and having her love life under constant spotlight.

This week the former Bachelorette weighed in on a young family who decided to protect the fertility of their young daughter after the child was diagnosed with cancer.

Love shared to her Instagram a story written by the Herald Sun’s chief health reporter Robyn Riley on Thursday about the Victorian family who say they elected to freeze ovarian tissue of their baby Hazel when a tumour was found near the child’s pelvis when she was just eight months old.

Love posted a link of the Herald Sun report that explained parents Lisa and Richard wanted to ‘future proof’ their child’s fertility.

The 36-year-old former TV reporter and podcaster stamped the post with a caption that read: “File under: ‘The Unfathomable Thought a Biological Female May Not See Procreation As The Only Reason For Being’.”

Love, who has been heavily speculated to have split from her Bachelorette husband Lee Elliott, did not answer calls from the Herald Sun.

Love is no stranger to courting controversy online to her 200,000 plus followers.

In September 2021, Love posted a video to her Instagram account asking whether a cat was on the menu at a Chinese restaurant after seeing the animal in the window.

‘Shop attendant or lunch?!’ she captioned her post at the time later losing several lucrative ambassador contracts including at Chadstone shopping centre.

In June the former journalist was slammed after she shared a video which appeared to be making fun of a man with facial palsy.

Love is among many high profile women sharing thoughts on the idea of how females procreating is not the be-all and end-all to life.

Shock horror and a sad indictment of our times, a female voicing such opinions is met with huge backlash.

TV and podcast personality Abbie Chatfield recently revealed she did not think she would have children with boyfriend Adam Hyde of Peking Duck because of “climate change”.

Miley Cyrus also spoke out about not wanting to have children when married to Port Phillip local turned Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth because of not wanting to out more “strain in the planet.”

Influencer Ellie Gonsalves received huge online backlash after listing more than 100 reasons for not wanting to have children including nasty pregnancy symptoms, constant fatigue and significant financial costs.
