Melb heiress, AFL star wed on same day, in very different way

Two big names have tied the knot in very different style weddings. While Melbourne ‘it’ girl Bella Geminder said ‘I do’ at her family’s Kew estate in an epic society wedding, AFL star Jeremy Cameron was wed on his farm.

Two big names tied the knot in two very different weddings that took place on Friday.

Melbourne model, businesswoman and ‘it’ girl Bella Geminder said ‘I do’ at her family’s estate Raheen in Kew, while AFL star Jeremy Cameron married on his farm near Geelong.

Geminder’s society nuptials with partner Jose Luiz Falk, before around 500 of Melbourne’s most notable names, followed that of her sister Georgia who married husband Matthew Danos at Raheen in October 2022.

The granddaughter of late cardboard king Richard Pratt and daughter of rich-listers Fiona and Raphael Geminder, Bella has spent much time abroad working on her business.

In attendance for the lunch time ceremony were members of the prominent Fox, Gandel and Smorgon families, her aunty Heloise Pratt and her partner Jon Stevens, but absent was her uncle, US based Visy billionaire Anthony Pratt.

Also there to celebrate were Geminder’s friends Ruby Brownless and Brooke Warne, along with Chris and Sarah Lucas. No politicians were in attendance.

Geminder, a model turned Strange Luxury skincare brand creator, announced her engagement in January last year. She toasted the occasion with family and friends in March last year.

Georgia Geminder, who founded the successful Gem oral care brand, is due very soon with her second child.

They have two siblings, Sammy and Ben.

Georgia wore a stunning dress by Melbourne couturiers J’Aton on her wedding day.

When Bella posted her engagement to social media Georgia was bursting with excitement and re-posted the image. “My baby sister is engaged. Love you both so much,’’ she wrote.

Cats forward Cameron married his long-time partner Indiana Putra with their nearly two year-old daughter Macey sure to have had a starring role.

The trio just had their dream Christmas holiday in the snow in Whistler, Canada, and then onto Banff and LA.

Cameron posted with his best man, former GWS teammate Toby Greene, getting haircuts on Thursday night before what Greene dubbed a “pre grand final cut”.

He also posted on his ride-on mower doing some pre-wedding prep.

“I made sure (the wedding) lined up nicely with the four day break,’’ Cameron said.

Putra posted with her bridesmaids getting manicures. Cameron popped the question in January last year.
