Reality TV may be on the cards for Melbourne’s favourite family after Alex Fevola dropped this bombshell at a Mother’s Day lunch.

Move over Kardashians, Keeping Up With The Fevolas may actually have legs.

Figuratively and literally that’s a given.

But memoir Silver Linings has turned into a bestseller and Alex and daughter Mia Fevola have welcomed people seeing another side to them.

So could a fly on the wall reality show be on the cards? While they have had plenty of TV offers, so far the Fevolas have always said a firm no, until perhaps now.

“You look at what the Kardashians go through and they are open to so much scrutiny and judgment but I don’t know it would be incredibly fun. It is something we would maybe consider,” Alex said at the Crown Mother’s Day luncheon with money raised going to charity Mirabel.

Hostess with the most Ann Peacock was sadly cooped up in bed with the dreaded Covid but still managed to tell Page 13 about the best advice her late, great mother Lady Susan Renouf shared with her.

“A recipe she calmed me down with because I was panicking about having people over for dinner was: Go to the supermarket. Get a packet of mac and cheese. Add tuna can. Bake in oven, Delicious. I remember her serving it to the PM of PNG Michael Somare. It’s still yummy and my go to.”

Sophie Moss joked her glamorous beauty empire mother Andrea best advice was to “friendzone him”.

Eleanor said Robyn Baillieu always told her to brush her hair, while Lauren Phillips lived by her mother’s motto, treat family like friends and friends like family and you will live a good life.

“Don’t subscribe to trends” and “treat others as you would want to be treated” were other motherly tropes.

But the best perhaps came from Lil Romano from mother, PR doyenne Judy Romano:

“If you want to keep a good husband feed him f*&% him and tell him he is grouse!”
