Alex Fevola says fourth daughter Tobi brought family closer

Alex Fevola says she feels happy and grateful for the first time in a long time, with one recent life change bringing her family closer together.

Alex Fevola has told how her fourth daughter Tobi has completed her happy family.

Fevola, who is sharing her life story for the first time in her debut book, Silver Linings, said the three year-old was a constant source of joy for her, Brendan Fevola and Mia, Lulu and Leni.

“Having Tobi really brought a new dynamic to our whole family — a happiness and a closeness that wasn’t there before,’’ Fevola said.

“We’ve always been a close family but having a baby when everyone is older has brought us so close and it’s been an amazing experience.”

In the book Alex shares some never before told stories including how Mia almost ended up an orphan when her father tragically passed away and she was struck down by a health emergency.

She feels grateful for her life now.

“Brendan getting his life back on track and having a great career, I do feel grateful every day for what we have,’’ Fevola said.

“There’s been a lot of times where I have been happy but there’s always been turmoil. I do feel more settled than I have in a long time.

“I just think that what happened to me when I was younger is something that hopefully a lot of people will relate to and find inspiring if going through something similar. A lot of people are struggling out there and dealing with different things.”
