Trolls target Mia Fevola after split from Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

Mia Fevola has become the target of trolls who took aim at her past after she announced her split with Bulldogs recruit Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

Mia Fevola has been targeted by trolls after announcing the break-up of her relationship with Bulldogs recruit Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.

The ugly comments, largely about her past, emerged again after previously being called out by her dad Brendan.

Many followers came to the defence of the 21-year-old.

After announcing their separation on Thursday, unfollowing on Instagram and removing pictures of him from her account, Fevola was moving on with class and focusing on business and work with her mum Alex.

The details of the split are still unclear but Ugle-Hagan, who is still in Perth after the grand final, was also the subject of commentary after the cryptic inference that Mia was sent photos and messages about him.

“Thank you to everyone for all the photos and messages,’’ Mia wrote.

“Jamarra and I have now gone our separate ways, I appreciate your messages and thank you for respecting my privacy.”

One source said there was too much pressure on the young relationship — they had been dating for about 12 months.

Just last month Fevola shared an emotional video after farewelling Ugle-Hagan who joined the Western Bulldogs on the road for the finals series.

The young loved up couple had been inseparable before that, spending all of lockdown together and featuring in videos on her YouTube channel. He was also by her side at her 21st birthday in May, while she posted her pride after he made his AFL debut in Round 17.

The cryptic message came as a surprise to her 149,000 followers.

In April Fevola paid a sweet tribute to Ugle-Hagan on his 19th birthday.

“Happy birthday to you @jamarrauh,’’ Fevola wrote with a black love heart.

“Appreciate you more than words can describe x”.

Ugle-Hagan, the Western Bulldogs’ No.1 draft pick, commented: “Love ya x”.

Businesswoman and make up artist Fevola also shared a series of adorable snaps of the pair who went Instagram official in March.

They stepped out together earlier this year at the For The Love music festival at URBNSURF in Tullamarine.

Fevola, the daughter of former Carlton great turned radio host Brendan Fevola, was formerly in a long-term relationship with Richmond triple premiership player Daniel Rioli.

She and Ugle-Hagan have gone on a loving holiday together and hit back at offensive trolling which was sparked after Fevola posted a snap of the two together.

It led to Brendan Fevola making an emotional defence of his daughter in the face of vile trolls.

“She can date whoever she wants, she can go out with whoever she wants, whenever she wants,’’ Fevola said on his FOX FM breakfast radio show, Fifi, Fev and Nick.

“She’s a 21-year-old girl. When we were 21 we were doing whatever we wanted.

“It just pisses me off that people can write that and say vile things online about any girl, not just Mia.”
