Page 13’s favourite up-market trucker has apparently been supervising his own recovery at Epworth Hospital following a serious leg injury.
Lindsay Fox, desperately in need of a protein injection sent out an SOS for meat.
His lunch order delivered via text to son Andrew, consisted of: “a thin Vlado’s hamburger with tomato and ketchup, and maybe some coleslaw too.”
Delivery was to be made to the back door at Epworth, at high noon.
No coincidence the hospital is just down the road from the legendary meat palace, Vlado’s. We’re told the Fox family has been among the restaurants most loyal diners since it opened in Bridge Road, Richmond almost 60 years ago.
