Brown has partied with footy mates at James Brayshaw’s wedding, just hours after the news he told his partner of almost 20 years that he had fallen out of love with her six weeks after the birth of their youngest son broke.

The day after news of his split with his long-term partner, Campbell Brown has partied with his footy mates at a wedding in Perth.
Brown was joined by footy legend Garry Lyon and partner Nicky Brownless, Craig Hutchison and his partner Clare, Brian Taylor, Luke Darcy, Nathan Brown, Damian Barrett, Danielle Frawley, Angus Brayshaw and Greg Blewett.
Friday’s nuptials led into a period of recovery at Rottnest Island on Saturday.
Brown will next month head to Argentina on a boy’s trip to climb Aconcagua, known as “the mountain of death”, and the highest peak in the Americas.
On Friday Page 13 revealed that the high-profile personality had split from his wife of 10 years.
The Hawthorn premiership player and Channel 7 commentator celebrated the birth of his third boy, son Bailey, in late August.
Six weeks later Brown told his long term wife Jess Johnston, with whom he shares three young children, he had fallen out of love.
The couple were childhood sweethearts and have been together for 19 years. Their eldest son Boston is six years old, second son Baker is two, while the latest to the clan, Bailey, was born in August.
Friends close to Jess say she is devastated, blindsided and at a loss.
“It’s all so raw and came out of nowhere,” one said.
As always the relationship breakdown was many facets, but the separation has not been amicable.
Brown, who turned 40 in August, is much loved for his larrikin ways and appears on SEN, Channel 7 and the popular Browny’s podcast with former Brisbane champion Jonathan Brown.
He celebrated the arrival of his third boy and his milestone 40th birthday with a function at The Saint in St Kilda along with 23 of his closest mates.
They included his former Hawks teammates Grant Birchall, Shane Crawford, Luke Hodge, John Barker and Brad Sewell.
His father, legendary former AFL player Mal Brown, was also part of the crew, as was former Sydney Swans star Josh Kennedy, Lions legend Jonathan Brown, Seven’s Hamish McLachlan and Cam Luke, comedian Tommy Little, lawyer Justin Quill and producer Luke Tunnecliffe.
Brown played 205 games, winning a premiership with Hawthorn in 2008 before joining the Gold Coast Suns.
He made headlines across the Spring Carnival this season, rocking up to Flemington Racecourse on Cup Day wearing shorts, in his capacity working for Craig Hutchison’s SEN radio.
He is renowned for his charity work and adventurous ways which have included swimming the English Channel, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with a climbing trip to Argentina planned for December.
He and Jess moved to the outskirts of Melbourne, at Kangaroo Grounds, with their young family where they also own retired racehorses.
