Former AFL star Warwick Capper has dabbled in the bump-and-grind trade – having starred in a porno and claiming to have earned money working as a male escort – but now he has a new venture.

The Wiz is going into the sex business. And this is not the first time former AFL star Warwick Capper has dabbled in the bump-and-grind trade, given he has previously starred in a porno and claims to have earned money working as a male escort.

As he did during his high-flying days at the Sydney Swans, Capper is again rising to the occasion, becoming a suburban brothel owner.

The 60-year-old has taken over Westminster Secrets in Oakleigh, just a hop, skip and a slow grind down the road from where he grew up.

Founded in the 1980s when Capper was playing at his best and wearing the tightest shorts in the game, Sweet Secrets the brothel later changed hands, being renamed Westminster Secrets.

Capper says he now plans to call it Wizminster Secrets.

“I’ve been in the industry awhile now, remember I did that Penthouse front page with my ex wife,” Capper told Page 13 on Friday after picking up the keys.

He says this is just the beginning for his brothel empire.

The footy larrikin plans to “open up a new one every year” and is out spruiking the business and looking for new recruits at Sexpo this weekend.

“I’ve got some great ads and promos lined up where I’m dressed as a pimp daddy,” Capper mused.

“In another one I’m dressed as 007 and I’ve got the catch cry, it won’t make you James Bond but it will make you Roger Moore …. Get it?”

Groan. Yes, we get it.

Capper said he is making the most of Victoria’s move to decriminalise sex work, with brothels to soon be treated the same was as, say hairdressers, when the last of the 2019 parliamentary review of laws governing sex work.

The review, led by then-MP Fiona Patten comes into full effect from December 1.

“The place is shit hot, it’s been refurbished and has a pole, which I will make great use of and a spa.

“It’s great, I’ll be bringing all my sport mates here who I know like to frequent such places. There will be a long line out the door, you just wait and see.”
