Collingwood’s premiership victory had some anxious moments, but it appears not as many as the book written to celebrate the historic win.

It’s a well-known secret AFL premiership books are a winner with fans, but a nightmare for the writer and publishers given the quick turnaround.

The key to success is the Christmas sales, which means the book has to be done and dusted within six weeks which in the publishing world is practically unheard of.

Obviously this rush job leaves room for some potential errors, with word in the literary world saying the upcoming 2023 Collingwood premiership book by Hardie Grant has plenty, think stats and even player names.
