Sources close to the inked-up Collingwood champ say the video was taken some years ago and that a devastated Swan was keeping his er, head down in the wake of the scandal.
Swan and his partner of 10 years, US-born Wilson, had pre-planned the getaway to Vanuatu and hightailed it out of Melbourne after the bed scene broke.
The timing couldn’t have been better (or worse) with a bit of sun to thaw out any frostiness between the couple.
The Brownlow medallist has flown to Perth where he will attend Dane Swan Night on Saturday night.
Victoria Police would not confirm whether the girl who circulated the video has been charged.
Many close to Swan have been shouting “double standards” after he was publicly identified while victims in similar circumstances have remained anonymous.
Sam Newman told Page 13 on he hadn’t heard from his Footy Show colleague this week, but he had texted him to sympathise about those ”Andy Warhol types”.
He was no doubt referring to publicity seekers who grab at 15 minutes of notoriety.

LAST week Page 13 was giving the lowdown about a split that turned nasty between former Neighbours starlet Kym Valentine and ex-AFL player Trent Croad.
It seems the Hawk has already flown into the arms of Carlton great Alex Jesaulenko’s daughter Kate.
The pair went public at the Champions of Carlton dinner at the San Remo Ballroom last weekend with Kate later writing, “He’s perfect right?”
It was right on the night. Brendan Fevola and the great man himself, Jezza, were also seen chatting up Croad.
