Myer model Kris Smith engaged to long-term partner Sarah Boulazeris

Kris Smith, who was once famously engaged to Dannii Minogue, is set to marry partner Sarah Boulazeris after popping the question in their Melbourne backyard.

Myer model Kris Smith is set to marry his long-term partner Sarah Boulazeris after popping the question.

Smith proposed to Boulazeris, the mother of his two daughters, in the backyard of their family home in Black Rock on Saturday with a stunning ring from Anton Jewellery.

“2020 wasn’t all bad … she said yes,” he wrote on Instagram.

Smith was previously in a relationship with Dannii Minogue with whom he has a son, Ethan.

English-born Smith moved to Australia in 2008 after meeting Minogue.

He started dating Boulazeris, a personal trainer, in 2017 and the couple welcomed their first daughter Mila in December 2018.

Their second daughter, Frankie was born in December last year.

The proposal created instant joy among friends of the couple, who took to social media to congratulate Smith for getting down on one knee.

Smith had previously said he would wait for Boulazeris to propose to him.

In a social media Q&A in August he was asked when he and Sarah would get married.

“I get asked this a lot … When will I marry Sarah? When she gets off her ass and proposes! “It’s 2020 now, she needs to propose, put a ring on it,” he responded.

It turns out it was Smith who got off his backside and went down on bended knee.

As well as being a Myer ambassador, Smith owns a gym in Melbourne’s South Yarra.

Boulazeris runs the Bumpfit online program which specialises in prenatal and post-partum fitness for women.
