THE pilot of Kyle Sandilands’ new television show Trial by Kyle is set for a major clash with The Footy Show and The Front Bar.
Channel 10 has announced that the radio shock jock’s Judge Judy-style program will screen on Thursday, August 23 at 8.30pm.
That puts Sandilands in a head-to-head battle with Eddie McGuire and Sam Newman as well as Andy Maher, Mick Molloy and Sam Pang.

The Front Bar has been dominating the Thursday 8.30pm timeslot in recent times. Last week Seven’s show averaged 274,000 viewers in Melbourne. The Footy Show averaged 139,000.
Trial by Kyle will provide a new twist in the ongoing battle.
Trial by Kyle co-stars former Bachelor contestant and criminal lawyer Anna Heinrich who will assist Sandilands with his adjudications. Sandilands will settle a range of disputes between warring parties.
Ten has announced the timeslots of all of its Pilot Week programs.
Parody show Skit Happens with comedians including Jenna Owen, Heath Franklin, Vita Carbone and Stuart Daulman will screen on Sunday August 19 at 8pm.
Disgrace! with politician Sam Dastyari, from the makers of Gruen and The Chaser will air Sunday August 19 at 8.30pm.

Drunk History with Rhys Darby and Stephen Curry screens Monday, August 20 at 9.30pm and Taboo with Harley Breen will roll out Tuesday, August 21 at 9pm.
Kinne Tonight with Troy Kinne will premiere Wednesday, August 22 at 9pm and funnyman Dave O’Neil’s narrative comedy Dave will screen on Friday August 24 at 8.30pm.
Ten’s Pilot Week will conclude with Bring Back … Saturday Night — a live variety show hosted by Rove McManus — on Saturday, August 25 at 7.30pm.
