AFTER four days and nights exploring Melbourne’s bike trails, market eats, art fairs and ballet stages, pop superstar Katy Perry hit up Southland to meet her fans.
Thousands of so-called KatyCats crammed into Myer Southland to do the modern-day meet and greet: a selfie (duck-lips optional) and a few excitable words with their hero.

Perry, who described Melbourne as her favourite Australian city, really immersed herself in the local lifestyle since arriving last week.
Hours after stepping off her private jet, she hit the bike trail for the boho delights of Fitzroy and Collingwood. She also dined at the Queen Victoria Night Market, visited the Melbourne Art Fair at South Wharf and Ballet Preljocaj’s dark take on Snow White at the Arts Centre.

“Melbourne is my favourite Australian city, hands down,” Perry told the Herald Sun.
“It’s a diverse and delicious place to visit, and I’m grateful that once again I’m welcomed so wonderfully.”
